From a patient access perspective, one of the things I love about this place is the cleanliness and modern feel of the office. No old ratty equipment, no out-of-date posters on the wall, and none of those other things we've all seen that admittedly force you to doubt a place when you're entrusting your health and body to them. I also love the staff's flexibility and ease of making an appointment. I don't think they've EVER failed to accommodate a specific appointment time for me, and there is virtually NEVER a wait if you show up at your scheduled time. If you're in a lot of pain and need immediate attention, they will also squeeze you in on short notice. You could practically walk into this place and be seen without a wait. Now onto Dr. Stiso. Super friendly, knowledgeable guy who really knows his stuff. Most recently I was treated over several weeks for a strained hip flexor that seemed to also have pinched a nerve due to the inflammation. After the initial injury, I was in so much pain I could barely walk. On my first visit, Dr. Stiso adjusted my pelvis and treated me immediately with laser therapy. He also provided me very clear direction on what I could and could not re: physical exercise, along with a schedule for icing the area. Even after two days, I began to noticeably improve. After a week, I was able to walk with no issue and the pain was gone. I continued to come in for adjustments to the hip area and was told I could gradually get back into the gym. Now I'm back to normal and feeling 1000% better. Life saver! As long as this practice remains in business, I will choose Stiso over any other chiropractor in the area.

The chiropractor proceed to adjust my neck. The movement was blunt, overwhelming me as my eyes adjusted to a swarm of darkness. As days passed my neck became extremely stiff, sore, pain radiating to my forehead, my right ear, and base of my skull. I returned home, I sought immediately medical attention from Dr. Fitch. He adjusted his schedule to get me in. It has been almost two weeks since the first adjustment in Va. I am still suffering but with each visit to Dr. Fitch I am very slowly healing with firm massage, lazar light therapy, acupressure and gentle motion. I had a rotator cuff surgery prior to meeting him and while I am not anti-surgery, why enter in to the most dramatic repair possible, when there can be alternatives that make that unnecessary? I want to try to heal naturally, with some of his work ---and then my work after I leave. If none of it is helping....I can always move on to the orthopedist. However, I have never needed to move on! Every single thing I have suffered from....neck, hip, knee, shoulder.....fixed by Dr Tom! At 54 I began working with a personal trainer who sang his praises and referred to him as 'incredible'.
