During a time of change and upheaval in my life (with no warning my position was eliminated), Scott…read moreSinger walked-in. I contacted him. We arranged a time and place to meet (a local Starbucks) and after we got to know each other a bit and he described his background and approach, he started asking questions, it kind of felt like an interview, but went a bit more into depth, he was interested in more than just my professional background, but what I was looking for at a deeper, surprisingly more personal and human level. Those were and still are the most challenging questions for me. Those questions really got me really thinking and at that point I recognized the person in front of me actually cared about where I ended up, I had a friend and counselor on the other end. We spoke for awhile, he took notes, got all the technical stuff down, while casually dropping rather profound ideas and suggestions my way. He took my resume, tore it apart, and made something amazing. It was a process with him, he regularly gave me feedback and responded back to it. I was not only involved in the process, I understood and internalized it. He created a succinct and matter of fact cover letter for me (he is fantastic at making someone look good while being truthful). He rewrote my LinkedIn profile and really showed me how powerful of a tool it could be in not only attracting headhunters but also building one's personal brand. Scott's work got results, I started getting calls, and generating a lot of interest! Found my way to gainful employment. Not a lot of people thing consider the psychological component to job searching, but he helped me regain my confidence and armed me for battle. I owe him a lot and I recommend that you stop looking before you start talking with Scott Singer.

I am writing this review of usbookspublisher to hopefully save someone from making the same costly…read moremistake I did. This company engages in fraudulent and deceptive business practices. The reviews you see for them are all fake. The Google business address they claim is in Florida is also fake (I visited the address; it's a building with space for lease, and there is no trace of this company at all). If you have started any dialogue with them, please stop before giving them any money. You will not get anything usable for marketing your book, let alone a return on investment. Here is an outline of my experience and why you should look elsewhere for book marketing: 1. Misleading Pricing: The initial price is not all-inclusive. You will be pressured to pay more money for things that should have been included in the package. When you try to clarify what the package includes, you will be given the run-around by multiple people who will try to calm you down and justify the sudden price increase. 2. No Book Reading: This book marketing company will not read your manuscript, bio, book description, or author's motivations. I ended up writing everything for my website and marketing copy myself because everything they sent me was laughably ridiculous and had nothing to do with my book or me as an author. 3. Subpar Writing Quality: Everything they write for you will read as if a child wrote it. Additionally, nothing they write will make any sense in relation to your book. This is because, as mentioned in point 2, they don't read your book. 4. Missed Deadlines and Poor Communication: They will set marketing milestone dates and then miss the delivery dates without any follow-up. At this point, they will start the blame game and likely assign you a new "project manager," claiming the previous individual had issues or was incompetent. This cycle will repeat until you stop hearing from them altogether. 5. Lack of Organization: You will never know what phase of the plan you are in, or when and where your marketing will start because no one will send you a calendar of events or outline of services. Your project will lack organization and you will not be a priority to them. Once you've paid, consistent communication about your project becomes a rarity. I could continue, but you would get tired of reading it. Just please learn from my very regrettable mistake. This company is incompetent at best and a fake business located in Pakistan intentionally duping writers at worst. Please look for a legitimate company as this one is NOT.
