It was a nice day, so we sat outside to watch Bremen walk by. Very, very nice and friendly staff. They pointed out the English descriptions on the menu and were very kind to speak English with us. Had the little bratwursts with sauerkraut and mashed potatoes for a late lunch. Delicious and filling! The kraut was very good. More of a subtle flavor and with bits of ham. And those potatoes! I make great mashed potatoes, so I'm pretty judgy about others'--these were fantastic. Buttery, savory and with some nice chunks of potato. Too full for Apple strudel unfortunately. Had a great, light Pilsner to pair it together. Inside looked friendly and cozy too. Would go back even just a beer.

We just had a pretzel so can't speak to the hot food, but the pretzel was good! Would definitely return on warm evenings for a fresh beer.
