Obwohl von außen unscheinbar, war die Atmosphäre beim eintreten sehr gemütlich. Die Räumlichkeiten ansprechend weil sauber, es gibt sogar einen relativ großen und abgetrennten Raucherbereich. Die Bedienung war sehr höflich. Ich habe ein Kohlroulade bestellt (mit Salzkartoffeln) und bin vom Geschmack, der Größe der Portion und vom Preis-Leistungsverhältnis begeistert. Hausgemacht und dampfend heiß war das Gericht wirklich sehr gut. Erwähnen möchte ich auch, dass das Restaurant eine sehr saubere Toilette besitzt. Ich war alles in allem sehr angetan von dem Besuch.

The restaurant is very close to the U Birkenstraße stop. There were a lot of locals having a drink and chatting when we arrived. They have an English menu and a lot of great authentic German choices. I had a question about one of the dishes and the waiter actually called the chef out of the kitchen to explain it to me which was great! We ordered the pork knee, the potato pancake and the leek pancake. The portions are HUGE and this proved to be too much food for us but we did our best. :) The waitress was friendly and helpful from start to finish and we couldn't have been more pleased with the service. We 100% recommend trying this place out when you visit Berlin!
