We often have this problem with food in North America but this is the first time we've experienced it in a European restaurant, which is probably indicative of some pesticide or other impurity in the food. Unfortunately, the service was also poor. We waited some time for someone to acknowledge us and nearly 20 minutes after we finished our food before being asked if we wanted coffee. Potato pancakes with mushrooms, the salmon lox with potato pancakes, and the pork medallions. All three of these where very well prepared and all three people noted how great they tasted. In addtion the venue has the charme of a hospital cafeteria, but maybe this was even the intention for locating it directly below the sauna of the Bodensee Therme anyhow. Second the food, both our chicken and pork steaklets came together with Spätzle for the price in decent portions (actually the plate was too small), but lacked any remarkable taste. A charismatic review from America…read more Came here for the first time (from NYC) and it was so amazing! They are busy but not too busy that I couldn't hear my friends. I had a pork snitzel with mushrooms and noodles. The pork was pretty hard but still tasty, the noodles nice and soft and the mushrooms were great. My friends had the spinach ravioli and margarita pizza. Both great!! Good food, nice environment, and reasonable prices. Enjoy!
