If you're a non-smoker and planning to travel to Germany, you'll be happy to know that beginning 01/01/2008, all restaurants in Bayern (Bavaria) will be required to have separate non-smoking sections. Some restaurants may go completely non-smoking. The smoking part was the only thing that bothered me when I ate here and at other restaurants in Germany. Heigenbrücken is about 1hr by train from Frankfurt.
