Everyone speaks at least some English, and there is plenty of seating, so you will probably not have to wait. I was served within minutes of sitting down with a steaming bowl of goulash that had a nice flavor with a hint of spiciness- perfect for a cold rainy day. I was not crazy about the bread, it was hard on the outside and very light, not thick or that tasty, basically only good dipped in goulash. The goulash bowls are fairly small portions, so you will need more than one bowl, which is where the confusion was for me. The menu states you get second helpings and I was charged for an entire additional bowl. With the challenge of communication, I relented and paid the tab. For that reason of frustration, I may not return. If I only had one day in Cologne I would not choose this restaurant, but otherwise would be worth the unique Hungarian experience.
