The location in right on one of the main colonnades so it's well connected. The space is a good size, has an upstairs and counter spots, plenty of outlets to keep connected as well as free wifi. If wifi is your only reason to go here though beware- it isn't very strong you may have to ask for it to be reset. Otherwise a nice, clean, comfy spot in the direct center to experience some awesome coffee grinds and homemade treats.

So we made our selections from the display and ordered some coffee drinks to go (in case we couldn't finish and had to go, we can take it with us). We then decided to sit outside the bakery (they have outside sittings set up) About 10 minutes later while we were enjoying THEIR cakes and coffees, a server came out and rudely told us to go away. Apparently because everything we bought from their bakery were packed as to go, we have to go and not eat at their terrace. We could understand some restaurants' policy, however, the way they sent us away was very rude and ruined our mood for the whole afternoon. First of all, we came from US and all the bakery we've been to in the US never had this kind of policy. We understand that different country has different rules, however this was our first time in Jena and also our first time making purchase at a bakery so we didn't know. I've seen him dump out cups that he felt weren't up to standard, and watched him hand pick inferior beans out of his roasting batch. Amazing quality, friendly service, and the speak English! Don't expect a quick visit though. The staff here take their time and focus on the customer they are serving. It's worth the wait!
