Mostly visited by senior citizens. Coming back after the room was cleaned I noticed a few things: fresh towels were more or less thrown in a corner in the bathroom and the 2 bathrobes were gone that were not used right when we wanted to use them. The (unchilled) bottle of water that I drank was also not replaced. I personally also did not like the beds. The pillows were to soft and did not provide any support. End result: I did not sleep well.

In terms of decor it is rustic, and sparse but this offers you privacy and rest. The hotel has a charming with a vineyard in the back, and they make their own wine. Although there is no elevator that takes you up to your room, it's part of the experience. Since this is family owned, everything is done through the owners. Eg to iron your clothes you have to request that you can go downstairs to their laundry facility. There is free and strong wifi which is great. Each day they serve breakfast downstairs and it includes a regional specialty which is a quark cheesecake. The staff are extremely accommodating - I would be very happy to stay there again
