Selbst als von einem grösseren Essen noch viel übrig blieb kamen unaufgefordert Behälter zum mitnehmen der reichlichen Reste. Ich denke das Jung und auch älteres Semester wie ich dort richtig gut aufgehoben sind, zumal sich auch preislich alles im moderaten Rahmen bewegt. Ich wünsche dem Bahnhof stets volles Haus mit lauter zufriedenen Gästen.

It is a piece of art in its own right having been conceived by expressionist architect Bernhard Hoetger. Just like Worpswede as a whole, the cafe/restaurant is entirely reliant on tourism. This is reflected by the opening hours which cater for a long weekend starting on Wednesday and closed on Monday and Tuesday - very disappointing when you hope to catch a less crowded glimpse and a more relaxed taste of the menu once the Sunday coach loads have departed ... It is almost impossible to get a table for lunch of afternoon tea without prior reservation, especially since the kitchen was taken over by a renowned chef a few years ago - as a guest you now compete with the regular sightseeing crowd as well as foodies.
