I've been here twice, and got great conditions, inexpensive gear rental (didn't bring my gear from…read morethe US) and not overcrowded slopes both times. The lift ticket was €41 during the high season, but the gear rental was only €28 for the day at InterSports. If you are looking to do a lesson though, check in with the ski school because lesson + rental packages might be available. That might have been a good deal for my first-time-skier friend. I didn't love the staff at InterSports, who weren't particularly friendly (except for one guy who sets bindings, but whose English wasn't great - German & Italian are your best options in this shop, though at the ski school they seemed much more comfortable with English & more prepared for assisting English-speakers). They kept my driver's license for collateral for my skis and failed to return it to me when I brought my skis back - which of course I didn't realize until I was almost an hour away & exhausted. Wound up having to have it mailed to me by a friend. The trails are great, and there's an intricate system of lifts, gondolas & tows to get you all around the mountain. There is a very big selection of intermediate trails (I prefer reds & blues myself, and don't see a huge difference between the two). I usually stay off of the expert trails - I know my limits! Lol! But haven't ever gotten bored because of the large numbers of red trails. Overall, a great mountain!!
