Pretty cool place in Eichstätt right next to the castle, the ambiance, in my opinion, can not be…read morebeat! Both the interior and exterior (biergarten) are wonderful. I've been here only for a beer a couple of times, never eaten. The food that they serve is typical Bayrisch/German and looks good from what I've seen others eating. Service is also good. I thought about using this location for my wedding (they have an upstairs portion to the restaurant) but in the end decided against it despite the location being superb! The manager is a bit too strict when it comes to decoration and food (buffet not possible, all food, including cake must come from restaurant), location is available until midnight, thereafter you must pay extra per hour, etc. Too bad because this would have made a great reception location!
