We are from the US and do make efforts to make requests in German however they kindly offered an English menu and spoke to us in English. Our waiter was very friendly and offered us 2 dessert shots to finish off our meal. We wanted to try local fair so My husband had the veal schnitzel and I had the seafood platter with a side of butter rice and potatoes with spinach. Our meals were flavorful and comparable priced to US restaurants (veal plate was US$17 and seafood US$18). Not cheap but not expensive for the type of meals we ordered. We'll definitely be back again during our visit in Penzberg.
