The bar crew is fairly nice but the wait staff is rude and short with Americans. Major chip on their shoulder, especially they little bald guy with the glasses. After our last visit here, it became clear the employees did not like people who are not from the area (i.e. foreigners), which is perplexing given that they themselves are not from Germany either. This makes little sense since the restaurant is attached to a Best Western which houses travelers from other countries. The food is standard Italian fare, nothing too special. If you can manage to get away from the Uniklinikum i would recommend eating in the city center of Goettingen. Otherwise, customer beware.
