And pretty much if you come drinking here before 6pm you'll be only in the company of punks, hobos and people who look like they belong at AAA and the place will be almost empty. But who cares we come here alot on thursday day and sit in the little beach cart cause it really adds to the daytime 'Idon't have to be at work so i'm down at the pub instead feeling!' At night they have some pretty good gigs here though and it's cheap plus there's a nightclub in the alley behind this place should you get bored!

The other dishes aren't expensive, but they don't provide great value, either. The pork chop can be somewhat overcooked and only a little cheaper than at other places. Service can be halfway decent sometimes, at other times inattentive and even a little rude. The beer on tap is, unfortunately, Ganter's various forms of slough-water, though they also have Guinness (strangely, you can't get a whole pint, though). I've never tried the Guinness here. They also serve some other beers out of bottles. It's not a bad place for a student restaurant/bar, but it's not a place to look for unless you want to spend almost nothing on a Bolognese. That's what brings most people, and that's all I'd recommend them for.

Friendly and serviceminded staff very generous portions and reasonable prices. All that deserves a definite 4. However the vegan stew with beans and root veggies I opted for was very bland and boring, healthy but alas not at all up to standard with what you expect from decent vegan food in 2016. Extra plus for great wifi and the sweet, unpretentious vibe in Vauban.
