The veal schnitzel was tender and juicy but needed more lingonberry sauce which they happily brought when I asked for it. Hubby had the elk goulash and said it def needed more sauce. It was tasty but a bit too dry. The wine selection was good. Overall a good dining experience.

We were placed next the to lady's bathroom door by a at first grumpy waitress. At least we didn't get any odor from the bathroom and the girl warmed up after a while as well. All of us had a Cordon-blue which turned out to be delicious. 4 beers, 3 Cordon-blues, 60 Euros guess that's ok. Hope they renovate this place soon and it could be a hit in this area of Säckingen. But maybe it is in the summer when the garden restaurant is open and you have a nice view on the castle ...
