I had a hard time deciding which entree to try and I settled on the green curry with tofu. I forgot that green curry is spicy but it was fine. It came with rice and I almost ordered another plate of rice to finish the rest of the curry, but decided against it. At least I ate all of the contents inside the curry. While I was there, the phone seemingly rang off the hook with future reservations. They are doing well. I look forward to coming back when I'm in town again to try some of the other appealing dishes. I guess I should make a reservation.

The wiener schnitzel is probably among the best and true to style you will find in Germany - guaranteed. The fish dishes, house noodles and seasonal offerings are for me the highlight here. The owners are ridiculously nice and the husband does mostly all of the service himself while his wife cooks (I believe). Honestly, it's perfect service. The owner speaks pretty good English if you do not speak German. Pricey relative to the city of Fulda and the surrounding region but an absolute insane value compared to any bigger metropolitan considering the high quality of ingredients and execution. We drank a bottle of wine that sells for 35-50 euro in a liquor store priced at 50 euro here.

They had a lot of margarita flavors and I chose raspberry. They also had beer and other cocktail options. I feel like I have to go back just to try the other drinks. There appear to be a few rooms in this restaurant where there is seating, instead of one open room. There were quite a few other patrons, so Chumbos must be a popular restaurant on a Sunday evening.

One thing that gave me pause is that they put the bottom of the meat stick directly on your plate. And then they put that same tip directly onto everyone else's plate. In this economy?! They also have a buffet bar for sides that they recommend not filling up on because you won't have room for meat. And then after your meal, there's a buffet bar for dessert. It was a good experience while we were in town and after dinner we hung out at the bar a little bit (but the cocktails weren't really that good).
