This restaurant is one of the gems in Coswig's gastro scene. Went there with my parents, who live…read morenearby and know most restaurants nearby very well but had not been in this place previously. I had a delicious 'Steak au four' with French Fries (referred to as 'Pommies' in this area) and plenty of salad. The pork steak was cooked to perfection and the Ragout Fin topping was well presented. I also got a glass of Eschenauer Merlot, a full bodied red that complements well with meaty dishes. My parents had a Duck Leg and Salmon Ragout, respectively, and both looked very happy with their dishes. The interior of 'Zum Moritz' is unassuming and the service is attentive and friendly. They played some Christmas music in the background, but it was not very loud so did not get annoying. (Christmas is over soon anyway.) Would love to come back some day. They also seem to have beer garden which may be worth a visit in spring or summer.
