The staff is courteous and is always available for assistance. I'm normally in here in the morning and Tinah and Carla are running around trying to get everything straight all while maintaining the register. The beer and liquor section is not half bad but if you want some of the German beers you will need to go to the class six. Over all this Shoppette is like every other installations Shoppette but what sets it apart from the others is the staff and the cleanliness of the facility. As a non-appropriated fund activity, the Exchange self-funds 98 percent of its operations, with revenue coming from the sale of goods and services. The majority of the 2 percent in appropriated funds is used to fund transporting goods overseas to Americans stationed abroad. One hundred percent of Exchange earnings are invested back into the military community. Two-thirds of Exchange earnings support military quality-of-life programs, while the remaining third is used for new store construction and facility costs at no cost to the federal government. So, make an effort to purchase your gas and other convenience store items here and keep the money in the community.

I came in this morning to grab breakfast, as I was looking around I saw this employee staring at…read moreme. So I asked her if she had any Tabasco sauce in the back because there were none on the condiment area. She told me that Tabasco is for paying customers only and accused me of stealing and putting sauces in my pocket. I was humiliated and asked her to check me. She told me if she didn't find anything she would pay me $20 so I emptied my pockets in front of her and she she started telling me stories about people stealing from her. No apologies, no $20 all she did was laugh in my face like I'm a criminal. I asked her for her name so I can report her, she pointed on her name tag, SHOLA it said. I can't believe truckers like myself get treated like this early in the morning. it's not even 10 am yet. I hope this message get to the right people and that woman gets reprimanded or properly trained to treat customers better. I'm still in shock.

The location is not in a bad area at all. Guess I was wrong. All I wanted to purchase was a bag of ice and a lottery ticket. The cashier was very helpful and quick. Bag of ice was only $1.93. Gas station was a little run down and dirty but it's always packed every time I drive by. Not to be mean (no offense), but I don't think I will return after seeing the bars on the windows.
