We drove to Gateway to check it out. Stopped by the Gateway General Store to fuel up - snacks and gas. Encountered their delivery truck from CoreMark trying to back in. Restrooms by the side for customers. So clean and stocked. The store is all things. Has a diner parked by the side and one patio table and a couple inside. A used book nook for you to take one and leave one. A little Coca Cola cooler with bottle opener and little throwback Coke bottles for sale. Beverages, food and snacks. And a general items section with gloves and household tools. I love this little general store. I imagine that's what stores in the past must be like - a little bit of everything and a gathering place of sorts. Basketball court by the store too. Nice stop. 24 hour fuel. read more
