At first we didn't think we were going to hire a wedding coordinator, then after much thought, we decided we should hire a wedding coordinator, and now that the wedding is over, I would have to say, it was money well spent, and I am so thankful we hired Gather as our day-of-wedding-coordinator! Our venue was in Easton, WA (right outside of Cle Elum area) and it was hard finding local vendors since Easton really isn't much of a city. We came across Gather Leavenworth on Wedding Wire, hopped on the phone with them, didn't look elsewhere and went with Gather. They were more than happy to travel! We hired them pre-pandemic with an original wedding date of 9/26/2020, but then had to postpone to 2021, and they were super easy to work with! Even though we hired them for day-of-wedding coordination, they had a lot of wedding tools you can utilize months before, that I wish we utilized more. But with the pandemic, we were thrown in to a bit of a funk with wedding planning. Gather sent reminder emails throughout the planning and they were so helpful! They came out the day before our wedding to run the rehearsal and go through all the decor and everything. Then day of wedding, everything went so smoothly! Ashley with Gather was, without a doubt, our wedding MVP. We worked with Ashley for day-of coordinating as well as overall decor vision and execution, and she was an absolute pleasure to work with. Gather's online portal is organized and has helpful resources to keep you on-track with planning, and our frequent check-in calls with Ashley were incredibly helpful. She happily answered all of our random wedding questions, both big and small, and helped us feel comfortable throughout the planning process. Not only did she help us with the basics of day-of coordinating and decor, she also ordered and rented any decor items we decided we needed and allowed us to ship items to her in order to reduce our workload. Great experience working with Ashley and her team. They made the wedding planning process painless for my husband and I, and took away all the stress. Everyone kept telling me how stressful the process was and how I'd be worried about things coming together and I never felt stressed the entire time, and was able to completely enjoy my day knowing everything was taken care of. An event planner myself, I have a hard time going to an event and not paying attention to all the details but they had them all covered. I cannot speak highly enough of Ashley and the service she provides. I am a very thrifty gal and when I first began planning my wedding the idea of hiring a coordinator, even just for the day-of, seemed too extravagant. We were on a tight budget, and I knew that if the person we hired wasn't the right fit it could possibly even add stress to the day. One conversation with Ashley assuaged all of my doubts. She was so warm, so easy to talk to, and so committed to making that day exactly what WE wanted it to be. Even though we only hired her for day-of coordination, she was available for months ahead of time to trouble-shoot and help connect us with resources. I can only imagine how amazing it would have been to have hired her to plan the whole thing! She was flexible and patient with me when it took me long periods of time to get back to her, and she continually promised me that on the wedding day,she would take the reigns and neither I nor my family would have anything to worry about beyond enjoying ourselves. Boy, did she deliver on that promise. Beginning from the rehearsal the evening before the wedding, Ashley made it clear that she would be the point person for everything moving forward. She tied up loose ends, dealt with difficult family dynamics, and put out little fires throughout the day, all with a relaxed, positive attitude.
