Heute am Samstag [14 March 2026] waren wir wieder beim GaumenSchmaus in Trossingen - einfach klasse! Das Hähnchen war frisch vom Grill, außen schön knusprig und innen saftig. Finally got a chance to stop by here and picked up a rotisserie chicken. I found it about the same as most rotisserie places, but this one is conveniently located off the street. There is no seating, but a small table extension, so I would recommend just ordering takeout. read more

The Hähnchengrill truck is parked on Vaihinger Straße in Möhringen Wednesday and Friday afternoons into the early evening. It's a food truck so the selection is a little limited. For meats you can get rotisserie chicken, schweinhaxe, and ribs, and for sides they have french fries, plus a couple cold sides (two types of potato salad, vinegar cabbage slaw, and one other I haven't tried yet). The cabbage slaw is excellent, as are the fries (made to order every time so they are always hot), and the rotisserie chicken is fantastically juicy and flavorful. The chicken is actually so good that I have yet to even try the schweinhaxe or ribs, but one of these days I'll get adventurous. In the meantime we'll keep enjoying the chicken, fries, and cabbage slaw for completely reasonable prices. read more
