One of the few times I'm going out of my way to post.. If you are looking for someone who truly knows their stuff and genuinely cares about helping people, Golan is the one to call. I reached out to him on a Monday morning for help setting up my home internet network with Ubiquiti U6 Pro Access Points. They were partially installed but not fully configured, and I had hit a wall trying to get everything working. Right away, Golan offered to give me tips over the phone free of charge--something you don't see often. I told him I was at my wit's end and that I was even willing to pay for someone just to diagnose the issue. But that's not what motivated him. Since he was already in the area for another job, he simply offered to swing by when he had time--no obligation, no mention of payment. What went well? Frankly, everything. I wanted to switch my security cameras from wifi to hard-wired to prevent the possibility of a jammer blocking my system. Golan made great recommendations and his install team did excellent work and left my house broom-clean. Golan was the perfect professional for the job, start to finish. We worked together to plan out an server rack / AV closet and he was extremely patient, knowledgeable, fun to work with, professional and I couldn't imagine a better person for any home networking or general purpose tech job in a residential or commercial setting. I wanted to set up a custom rack in a closet that had 30+ cables that needed toning, a UniFi setup, pretty complicated media room and speaker setup and assorted electronics. Golan started early in the morning, picking up parts on a rainy day, and then started work professionally - covid safe, always making sure to be careful around the house and didn't leave any evidence behind that he was there, which is a tough feat given he had to go throughout the home to tone all the cables. Most importantly, he was meticulous and showed care for the setup, to a degree that I feel someone would only show for their own networking setup to be perfect. See photos for really nicely done patch panel with labels, all wires labeled nicely, room for growth and really understanding all the components of the system. It was installed last year by someone else and the guy that installed it ( who was recommended by our security fence guy ) talked about a button to exit. He talked so fast about the whole Doorbird system. We were confused by it all and figured we would understand it when it was in. Once it was in it seemed so complicated about where to install this exit button with this guy that we didn't do anything and used the phone app. So we decide to find someone else and called West Coast Locksmith that said they worked on Doorbirds and that was just as bad as the first guy with another fast and impatient talker.
