Bad start to a morning when your garage door won't open but Geico Garage Doors came to the rescue. I called them and within an hour they were at the front door. Well, this is the first time we've ever had to replace a garage door. I work in sales and have for over 35 years. It's tough when you need a quote and they're all over the board with manufacturers, models, install availability and of course price. I'm a very efficient shopper and once I research what I want, very specific in my questioning and expect a no-nonsense answer, simple right? Unfortunately, not for many companies. But Gecko did what I requested. I gave them the details of what I wanted. They gave me a quote and they beat their estimated install date. Other companies responded initially, but then vanished or quoted higher prices or had lead dates way out. Initially, I dealt with the tech, Jake, to give me information and get measurements, which he brought back to the office. The quote arrived quickly. He was a personable guy and never tried to sell me on anything. He GAVE me an education on all the specs of doors and what we might consider. Then guess what... I dealt with the owners thereafter. Our 1999 Genie garage door opener was beginning to growl and the screw/worm drive that was wearing out was beginning to drip grease. Almost a year ago we had it all serviced and the tech who came out advised us it was going to go sometime soon. This company from the moment I called was so amazing. I'm a single mom who lost her husband 4 years ago. 3 months after buying our home. 4 years ago my garage broke, as in caved in the middle panels when opened thus making my garage inoperable for 4 years!!!
