Since I wanted to make the switch from long to short, I did my hairstylist-research and this one had rave reviews. Deservedly so! They take their time and (anatomically) analyze the best possible cut for each individual client. Furthermore the people are incredibly friendly and pamper you all the way to hair heaven, i.a. with the amazing head massages! After a quick look at their website, I was ready to call. Within an hour of my emailing them, there was a friendly reply, with an appointment for the next day. Easy to find, and in an interesting part of the city. The entire staff was warm and welcoming, and as others have noted, they do really care about what you are looking for. Antwerp is filled with hair salons, but this one stood out from the rest. Art Director Justyna Van Loenhout cut my hair into a face framing cut with lots of texture. I shopped one of the nearby vintage stores on the way home, and two other travelers noted my hair. What more can I say. They delivered.

I feel horrible because I do not remember the girls name who did my eyebrows. She shaped my eyebrows perfectly and paid attention. To note exactly what I wanted. Also they use a sugar not a wax so it was gentle on my skin which is sensitive. I was not red or puffy afterwards like I usually am. The salon itself is delightful as are all the staff. I walked in on the day of my appointment and was quickly taken care of. I didn't want anything experimental, just cutting off my dry and split ends, while keeping as much of the length as possible. Said and done. Just about half an hour later I walked out with what felt like pounds taken off my head. She kept most of the length, but gave it some layers, making it feel so much lighter. And everything for just 32€ - I'm pretty impressed and will definitely make my way back here!

I would highly recommend Jason to people who want someone who is knowledgeable, can walk you through what they are doing, and why. For example, he had me change my part, so it avoids the cowlick.
