My husband and I stopped here for a break while wandering around downtown Kristiansand. While there were many pastries and sandwiches available, we got only 2 cappuccinos. Upon ordering, the lady behind the counter told us(in English) that we could sit and she would bring our drinks out to us when they were ready. We chose two seats in front of the window and set ourselves to people watching.
The cappuccino has more milk to it than I'm used to in the states. The flavor of the espresso didn't come through very much, but it was still tasty. It came with a spoon and a tube of sugar.
We heard that Norwegians will spend all evening at a restaurant and that it's a usual thing to stay for a very long time, so we allowed ourselves at least an hour to sit there and just look out the window. Geheb is right on a street intersection, which makes it a great place to watch the folks outside on their bikes and with their shopping bags and their dogs.
After leaving, the staff will clean up after you. There's also a bathroom available, further to the right of the ordering counters. read more
