I have stuck with this insurance agency out of inertia. The owner is good and cares about…read morecustomers, but the staff are subpar. I almost lost my insurance due to one of them leaving an important letter from the insurance company sitting on her desk for six months. When she did tell me about it (because they sent a second letter to her) it was the dead of winter and hard to get the repairs they wanted done. Another time I called and they told me I wasn't a customer although I had been for a decade. It turns out they updated my last name on one field in their computer system but not another. A former employer of mine used them as the broker for health insurance and the agent knew his stuff in enrollment meetings, and said here's my card if you have questions, but then never got back to me the one time I did have questions. He did find time to take a company bigwig golfing though. The manager was surprised as usually no vendors offered to take him golfing, and business decisions there were based on pricing not schmoozing. A friend of mine was interested in business insurance and after a couple of rounds of phone tag the agent stopped responding. So they are inconsistent, especially with smaller accounts they apparently find less important. The exception is the owner who did come put to my home to resolve an issue created by a member of his staff. When I have gone into the office in person or even called it seems like some employees are caught offguard and aren't comfortable even though I am asking for simple things like quotes. The impression I get is that they like shuffling papers but not dealing with people. Again, the owner is an exception, and the commercial salesperson was also personable.

Then he would ramble on and on, and then I try to redirect the conversation back to trying to get an answer to my question, he told me not to talk over him, he is talking... again this was not even related to my question. He was just rambling about hypothetical things that didnt pertain to my question. It seems like he didn't know that much because a quick google search and i got more of an answer than he gave me. Not very good at doing their job of being the middle man between you and the insurance company. They didn't search around and did not get the answers to the specific questions i had.
