If I could give zero I would, they did not inform me that they were not be paying my rental insurance after assuring me that the rental would be paid for. This was after I got rear ended, and their policyholder was completely at fault. They said it was a total loss I only wanted to pay $4000 and then found out I had a lienholder on my car so they were going to pay them instead of me so I was stuck with no car, no money to get another car and told after two days I had to get out the Rent-A-Car. Sent me to the hospital where I was there for almost a month I get a phone call from an investigator saying that he's investigating my claim and he asked me some questions while I was in the hospital on my deathbed with liver failure. He then says they're investigating it because I couldn't answer some questions while in the hospital on my deathbed and they want to do a recording interrogation they have continuously stress me out I'm being treated like a criminal lowballed for my car , and then he had the audacity to tell me they could drag me to court in front of a judge since I didn't want to be treated like a criminal and record it never recommend them you get treated like the criminal instead of the client read more

If I could give a zero star rating I would. I have family insurance with my children. Geico just cancelled our insurance because my son has a moving permit on the car he just bought. Geico said they need to see registration now and will not insure vehicles with moving permits. Cannot get car registered till 31st as first available appointmen, we need insurance to register but they have now cancelled for all vehicles. Mine is registered and they have documents. What a shit show. They say they help you but they don't. Cannot wait 3 days till we have registration for my daughter's vehicle. I stopped by GEICO to get a DMV form completed. Apparently GEICO failed to notify NV that I'd maintained the liability insurance on my two automobiles. I went to the Craig location. A young lady looked at the form and stated that they didn't complete the forms. She gave me a number to call. I called the number 855-345-1898 and spoke with a customer service agent. She seemed very helpful, took the information for my husband and me and said that the DMV was notified that we had maintained coverage. Yesterday, I got a notification from the DMV that my license was suspended for failure to maintain liability insurance. DAMN!!! I've been a loyal customer with gieco insurance for quite some time now. Just recently they suddenly raised my rates from $255 to over $500+ a month. I asked why would they do that? During my time with them I filed no claim, no accidents, no tickets. They say the reason for them to double my payment was due to the economy. On top of this they failed to report my new car as currently insured to dmv and I found out my license plate was suspended. So I went to another insurance. I didn't call to cancel with gieco after a week later just to make sure they didn't cancel my insurance before I was with the other company. I specifically told the gieco agent not to back date my cancellation but she went ahead and did it anyway. She back dated it on the wrong date and now it shows a lapse of no insurance from the time I started with my new insurance company. I called several times to fix this and gieco insist what is done is done and they were not willing to change their mistakes. There was only one time I needed gieco to help me. I had a flat, stranded and I waited almost 5 hours until I called a tow truck on my own expense and I was never reimbursed. For everyone out there looking to insure with gieco please think twice because if this can happen to me it will definitely happen to you. Insurance companies make a lot of money from everyone. They tried to double my payments now they get $0.00 from me and I actually pay less now with both my cars and home combined. My son's car was stolen on March 19th 2023 recovered on March 20th was towed to tow yard. On March 24th or 25th car picked up from the tow yard taken to repair shop. The vehicle sat in the repair shop for 30 days conveniently on day 30 we are told the car is a total loss. We are now responsible for the rental car we are going on week 3 of paying for a rental car. I have spent hours on the phone with Geico representatives that seem like they do not have the proper training to get the rest of this claim processed promptly. Worst experience ever. I got hit by a drunk driver and put a claim in. They closed my claim without even telling me. I just sit on hold for almost an hour and a half and then they hung up. I called them back and had to sit on hold for 52 minutes. But that point I was informed that they closed it because I don't have Collision even though it was not my fault. The lady told me I had to contact the other insurance company to get them to replace the car. I asked for a manager and they hung up on me. Geico insurance used to be the best as a USAA member Geico handles my car with any problem with no problems whatsoever on my motorcycle however that we're having a problem with. My bike has been on hold for three weeks while we're waiting for the adjusters to decide what is actually wrong with my bike the problem is the last adjuster that came out decided that I didn't wreck my motorcycle the way I said I did that it should have more damage on it and that some of the parts should not be replaced but just buffed out because that's going to save the insurance money. My headlights which they want to buff out or made of plastic on the lens so therefore they cannot be buffed out since there's huge gouges in them. They don't understand a motorcycle is not like a car that you can only replace the damaged pieces. My pipes were damaged and they only want to fix the left one. They come in pairs people. They just want to paint a few pieces but the guarantee that they will match is not good. I have seen why others have complained about them. They do not have anyone that knows about motorcycles. This office sold me a policy only to call me the following week to leave me a message that they sold me the policy by mistake and that they would not be able to fulfill their promises. When I call back I'm placed on hold for 5 minutes only to be hung up on. When I call back, no answer, so I drive to the facility 25 minutes from home to be told to "cancel the policy myself, it's a busy office and people make mistakes." The problem with Geico is that they are the second largest insurance company in the nation. They are far too large to be efficient. I didn't see a brick wall that got in the way of my car and I sustained some minor damage. Some genius geico executive thought that administrating and servicing clients is better as a team. What is their idea of a team? You get an automated reception then go to another a.r. and finally reach a PERSON! This person is in Tennessee, but is unable to deal with your problem because you are in Nevada. You ask for a supervisor and they put you on hold for 15 minutes until they can contact a supervisor in Oregon who knows absolutely nothing about your problem! The end result? You get so pissed off that you end up cancelling your insurance! Typical Geico service, it sucks! They loved raising the rates on all my policies auto, home and an umbrella policy. The increase's will be an additional $700.00 in premiums in just one year! I guess Warren Buffet just doesn't have enough money. They give you a lower price to sign up and then hit you with the increases in a year or two. Look elsewhere.
