Well, after my experience with Austin Keen at State Farm on 58th Ave (next to GoodYear by SAMs Club) I can honestly tell you: I found that kind of Insurance Agent associated with that kind of quality company......and beyond! I have been through 3 insurance companies in 7 years due to agents retiring, companies buying out the other, and finally buying a new home and going with the mortgage broker's recommendation. All were decent, but not one of those agents took the time to meet with me in person and go over every detail of their insurance policies with explanations. They also put my family with 3 different companies for insuring auto, motorcycles and home. So there was no bundle discount and we had to have 3 different bills and payments for 3 different policies, actually 4 including FEMA for flood insurance (which I found out will always be separate after meeting with Austin). Now we are finally with ONE awesome company: State Farm, with a bonus: having Austin as an agent! Austin is personable, attentive, kind, respectful, knowledgeable, and an absolute pleasure to work with! I also found him honest and having integrity. He was able to work diligently for my family, getting us lower prices with better coverage, in only a couple of hours. He explained so much to me, that I never knew or thought about. For one thing: State Farm uses State Farm Insurance! Not like these other agents who work for a business which does not have their own policies, but sign you up for various companies. Some of you may be ok with that, but for me having to make one phone call to one person at one company and have everything handled is priceless! Austin said he'd also be dealing with our FEMA flood insurance and taking care of changes with our mortgage company. After finalizing everything and knowing that I was now adequately covered by State Farm, I walked out of their office smiling and relieved! Not only have I found a great agent, but everyone in that office is friendly, starting with the wonderful woman who happily greets you as you walk in and also answers the phone when you call. In fact, her office made claims that my insurance rate had gone up, but when I asked again, stated that they never claimed my rate changed. This felt like they LIED to me about how much I owed and why I owed it. Customer support did not understand why I was billed extra and the bill was dissolved. Intentional or not, this felt like a scam, and I will NEVER return to her service. I would recommend everyone to seek other agents. She is unreliable AND untrustworthy.

I tried to get insurance through state farm probably about a year and a half ago and they canceled my policy due to an error made at the DMV, I recently turned 26 so I tried to get insurance through them again because it was about 20 dollars cheaper than what I currently pay. I explained to them the situation that happened last time, I explained that the mistake the dmv made had been corrected and they assured me that nothing was showing up in their system so I wouldn't have to worry about my policy being canceled because if that was a possibility I wasn't going to use them. I was very clear with everything because I didn't want to have to deal with my policy getting canceled yet again. And what happened, the same mistake is still showing up in their system somehow and they canceled my policy yet again. I've called the dmv and they see nothing on their end, because the mistake had been fixed over a year ago. Yet somehow it's still showing up in their underwriters system. & instead of them trying to help me they offered me the standard drivers option, which was more expensive, obviously. They suggested getting proof from the dmv that my driving record is clean (which takes hours and I work full time and so I don't really have the time to do so). Either way, I had such a bad experience with this place, they weren't helpful what so ever. So now, I'll be going back to geico, I've never had any sort of issue with them what so ever and they have always been more than helpful. Really disappointed with State Farm, and this office specifically.
