Wanted a 20 by 20 shed built.on skids insulated floor, with ceiling to create an upper storage loft. Quoted me $4900.00 with rough cut lumber. He let the insulation in the floor get soaked. the vapor barrier holding the insulation in place is forming a 1 foot deep wading pool. he is refusing to replace the wet insulation. The battens of the boards for the shell are not properly attached and are already coming loose. The roof ridge beam support is not nailed into place and can be tapped out of place to allow the roof to collapse. When he claims to be done there are no ceiling joist to create the loft storage area. I had to pay an additional $400..00 to get ceiling joist put in. He did not put a support board on the wall studs to help support the ceiling. Although he did put the support boards on the ceiling man beam. The door opening and double doors are not square and have one half inch gaps. I have had 3 contractors come inspect his work and all have told me if he does not make adjustments and repairs that I have an excellent claim against him in civil court.
