I was extremely disappointed by my experience here. I had researched this shop before visiting and was genuinely excited to try the sorbet. After purchasing my sorbet, I took a photo of the flavor display inside the shop, which is a completely normal thing for customers and tourists to do I am blogger and was going to share my experience
An employee immediately began yelling at me, accusing me of taking photos I was not allowed to take. I explained that I was simply taking a picture of the ice cream flavors, but he continued to raise his voice, demanded that I delete the photo, and even wanted to see my phone to verify it had been deleted.
The entire interaction was embarrassing, uncomfortable, and completely unnecessary. This is a highly touristy area where people take photos every day. If there is a policy regarding photography, it should be communicated politely and professionally--not through yelling at paying customers.
What should have been a fun stop for a treat became one of the most unpleasant customer service experiences I've had while traveling. The employee's behavior put a damper on the rest of my afternoon and evening. The sorbet wasn't that good and the way I was treated completely overshadowed the experience.
