The employee at the counter spoke some English and was very helpful in pointing out which options would be appropriate for my dietary restriction. Some of the flavors were even marked "Vegan OK". I wish I'd taken a closer look at the names of the flavors I selected but one was a super dark chocolate and the other one, I believe, was hazelnut. The employee suggested I get a cup instead of a cone, due to the cone containing some milk. This stuff was INCREDIBLE. I was literally in heaven while eating the two scoops I ordered. Also very affordable, by the way. I think it was just 2€. I sat at a table outside on the cute little plaza and enjoyed it thoroughly. BarbaGelato got busier as the evening went on - clearly they are doing something right. My only request is, can you send your sorbet making secrets to America? No? Well, I'll just have to return sometime. In this meanwhile, I'll be dreaming about it.

I tried the Arachidi e Mu (peanut toffee) and the dark chocolate and was impressed. Ice cream parlors come and go and go up and down, but for this moment this would be the place to go!!!
