Enzo's is definitely one of the bet restaurants in Adelaide area. Best to make a reservation…read morebeforehand especially for prime time like 7-8pm. They have an online booking system or you can simply call. My sister and I shared seafood pasta, stuffed crab meat, tiramisu and alforgato. Everything was very good! The pasta could have been a little more al dente in my opinion but it was not overcooked. I highly recommend their Tiramisu....very authentic, not too sweet but rich in coffee and rum. I loved their chili paste that they served with the table bread and asked our waiter if I can purchase it. Turns out they have a factory a couple miles away from the restaurant. I am sure going to check it out!

It's more than just your average bolognaise, in my opinion anyway. I've heard some not-so-flash reviews about it too, but let's stay positive here. This is basically Italian fine dining. People actually dress up to come here. I was not warned about this, and showed up in jeans and a top. I mean, I'm not a sloppy dresser, but compared to what other customers in the restaurant were wearing I felt a bit out of place. I had the spaghetti marinara, and it was delicious! I like spicy food, and this dish had a surprising hint of spice. It wasn't hot; it was just more flavoursome than marinaras I've had before. The ingredients were fresh, tasty, well cooked and well presented. The waiter who served us was friendly and helpful. However, we waited quite a bit for our food, and seeing as we came early and it wasn't that busy I'm not too sure why. It was worth the wait though; all was forgiven when I tasted that marinara. Located next to the Adelaide Entertainment Centre on Port Rd, this place is highly recommended.

Terrible customer service / rude staff and management !!!…read more A friend and I dined in last Wednesday night where we had Gourmet Chicken Pizza. As I promised mum I'd bring her food, half way through the dinner, I went to the counter ( the same waiting staff who served the table took my takeaway order ) I paid for take away pizza, pointed at my table and specifically mentioned that I wanted to order " the exact same thing I am eating now ", that is Gourmet Chicken Pizza. Went home and gave mum the pizza, she took one bite and told me it's Lamb and she can't eat as she's allergic to Red Meat ( we both are ). It was around 10 pm, and she has been waiting for this for dinner , so no other food options available, went to bed empty stomach after having a cup of tea. Around 3 am she woke up with a severe allergic reaction, her whole body itching badly and skin turning completely red, requiring anti histamine tablets. I felt terrible as my mum is here for a short period of time visiting me, and thanks to these people she starved overnight and spent a sleepless night . Called the cafe last night to inform that they have given me the wrong order. The same waitress who messed up my order picked the phone and 1st told me what I ordered was the Lamb Pizza. Told her that is not true as I even pointed at the table and said "I will have the exact same Gourmet Chicken Pizza" . Then she said she couldn't understand my accent. ( For my 15 years of living in Australia including completing a Masters degree at Uni and working as a mental health social worker, never had any issues with my ACCENT!). I called the restaurant again today and tried to speak to the manager . Another staff told me that the manager is not available to talk to me over the phone but they are sorry about my mum's allergic reaction and happy to refund me and offer a free pizza if I can get to the cafe. I finished work and went to the cafe to speak with manager who flatly denied that their staff said they made a mistake because they couldn't understand my accent and said she is happy to " throw in a free garlic bread" and give me the correct order. I said I was told by another staff member that I will be reimbursed and also given a free pizza for all the trouble I went through, but happy to take get my money back and never return again. I will actively discourage any of my work mates, friends or acquaintances from visiting this place as this is shockingly rude, terrible customer service. Staff including the manager needs to be given up-to date training on basic customer service.

Ordered Italiano pizza when it was served it was missing prosciutto, we queried this, they apologized and said new to the menu. they then sent back the original pizza with prosciutto on top. Pizza was cold and Prosciutto was freezing. I sent it back and they said they would make new pizza. In between this we ordered drinks which when we eventually followed them up got snapped at that they were making them., a bottle of beer and a glass of wine in an empty cafe. When wine came in was in a plastic glass(we were eating inside). New pizza arrived which was atrocious, base undercooked, topping not staying on base. Would never go back.

If you like Asian taste in your ice cream, you cannot go wrong with sesame. Lychee is refreshing, and caramel fig and rum raisin are also my favorite as I can taste a little of pick me up (wink wink). My sister's favorite is gorgonzola pear and fig but we were told it is only seasonal as they want to keep their ingredients authentic as possible. The Asian male staff was very helpful and he even mixed flavors for us to try something new and creative! Highly recommended.

Not that anything is wrong with Gelatissimo but damn 48 Flavors had me really impressed. Because they have flavours that other icecream places do not have. Actually, for me it's just 3 flavours in particular. Durian, Taro and Black Sesame. With durian, it's probably one of the most divisive foods I can think of. People either absolutely love it or hate it. It has a custard-like texture with a rich creamy quality. However the people who absolutely despise it will point out it's pungent aroma, and pungent it putting it very politely. Basically it smells like rotting fruit mixed with other things. It's considered the Kind of Fruits in SE Asia and it's definitely one of my favourites. I wasn't going to get anything...until I saw the sign saying 'Durian Icecream- Tasting Available.' I think my eyes widened a bit and I immediately went to buy a scoop. I tasted before buying and then changed my mind to 2 scoops!! It's that good. The icecream's flavour 100% matches that of ripe durian, and I was kicking myself that it took me so long to discover it. I'm definitely coming back to try a few more flavours, and to get the durian a few more times. However I may need to sit a bit further away from my friends, because they kept pointing out the smell!
