The care my mom received from Stillwater Hospice was amazing. The room was clean and well kept and…read morethe view of the garden outside her patio door was peaceful and inviting. I stayed with my mom 24//7 for 6 days and nights, and when I needed a break, walking the grounds was so calming. I cannot say enough about the nursing staff. My mom and I were truly blessed to have Rickie, Nicole and Shelly as our nurses. These 3 women were angels. They went above all standards to make sure that not only was mom comfortable, but that I was as well. They explained the entire process and the different stages that would be taking place. They made sure to address all my questions and concerns.The level of care my mom received during this difficult time was remarkable. Words can't express the gratitude that I have for the staff at Stillwater.

When our family was looking for hospice care for our father, we were referred to Heartland Hospice…read more We scheduled an informational appointment to "interview them" thinking our father had several months left. The morning of our appointment, my father took a turn for the worse. We contacted Heartland and asked if they could come earlier than our scheduled appointment. They not arrived within 20 minutes of my call, but they were able to get him all of the help he needed and he was resting comfortably by that afternoon. Sadly, my father passed three days later. However, Heartland was wonderful through all of it. Because he was onboarded on a Friday, we ended up seeing five different nurses throughout the four days. Every one of them was phenomenal! They were all so caring and knowledgeable. We couldn't have navigated through everything without them.

First off this home is super clean. The nurses are very friendly and helpful. In fact everyone was pleasant considering the circumstances. They even have a therapy cat and a therapy dog. My elderly mother was in Hospice care with another group in this area. She needed a pacemaker…read morereplaced and after that was done, the Hospice group denied letting her return to Hospice. That's another story for a group that will get 1 star. Any way, we were given the name of Heart to Heart as a group that is more caring than the previous group and told we should contact them. All of Mom's children are out of state so it was imperative to us that we get help for Mom that is local and experienced. My sister talked to Karin at Heart to Heart and Karin started the process of getting Mom enrolled with them. Due to COVID it took a few extra weeks but Karin kept checking in with us to let us know where Heart to Heart was in the process of helping Mom/us. They reached out to all the places that had Mom's records and got those while we were waiting - very proactive. Finally they were able to come to Mom's home and talk with her. When their nurse came out to examine Mom, we were told by the nurse that Mom was terminal and had days/weeks to live. The contract with Heart to Heart wasn't signed and we were in a panic! Karin carried to contract over to Mom's home that day and got it signed by a family member. Mom was once again under Hospice care with a group that went out of their way to help her, and us. I cannot thank Heart to Heart enough for the peace of mind, support and care that they have given Mom. Amazing Karin, and amazing people at Heart to Heart. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
