Miss Lilly, Miss Bre, and all the newborn teachers truly love the children. My daughter learns so much every single day. I review what she's learned and she's able to communicate with me all the exciting things she learned. My kids both come home clean. They love going to Kindercare each day. It's a family atmosphere there. Miss Alex and Miss Amber do an excellent job running the show. Communication is great and we enjoy looking at the calendar to see all the fun days planned each month. This is something very personal and I felt attacked, as several other parents and staff members could hear our conversation.

We did public Pre-K and he was accepted to a local private school (not a good fit), but Hendersonville Montessori Academy has been better than just a good fit. The Montessori approach is present in everything and I cannot express how good they are with these students. The families are building community and meeting for playdates - no one is left out. We like the curriculum, love the teachers, and the work our son produces shows us his improvement. If you are interested in Montessori for your child - do a little research about it and then call HMA, they really are top notch.

As parents, the safety and well-being of our children are our highest priorities, and unfortunately, we no longer feel confident that this school can provide a safe and reliable environment. I received confirmation to my phone and then another notification saying the staff was out due to a stomach bug or something like that. I understand. However, after that I expected to get a call from the director or the school to reschedule once again but that never happened. Prior to enrolling, our 2yr old was going through her 'biting' stages of toddlerhood. She had two incidents at her prior school with a long stint of no incidents after that before enrolling in KA. Once enrolled at KA, our 2yr old went on biting streak. Upon further investigation as to why this kept happening, I found out that A) the classroom was incredibly overcrowded - there was no way any amount of teachers could keep an eye on that amount of kids and B) everyday there was a new teacher in the classroom. The teacher churn was UNREAL. That tells me they don't pay their teachers jack squat and kids run the place so of course the teachers don't care. After awhile, they would start sending my 2yr old home after an incident. How the F am I supposed to pay for daycare if I also have to watch my child? I brought this up to management but they didn't care. Eventually our 2yr old was kicked out of KA. At her new school, she's had one incident of biting in 6 months. Her class has the same 2 teachers M-F and a much smaller class size. 2. KA will take any and every excuse to either close down or send your child home for the day, not just major holidays or incidents, not to mention the 2 weeks off around Christmas/New Years that you are EXPECTED to continue to pay for. Training day for teachers 2-3 times per year? Schools closed, kids stay home and you pay for it. Woke holiday? Schools closed, you pay for it. Mild storm expected? Schools closed, you pay for it. 3. This school is incredibly cheap and although the facilities are nice, good luck trying to get a refund or vacation time without escalating it past management to the owners. All in all, I would avoid unless its your only option.

In other words, they made a business decision about my daughter and our value to them as a family. We always paid in advance so she would never have to deal with her care being transactional and they could focus on her without worrying about the money side of it. Unfortunately, we just weren't valued here. To boot, since we pay in advance they had a check in hand for this week and despite me telling them not to, deposited it. Now we have to try to get our money back.
