The initial clean wasn't up to par and wasn't finished in the time quoted, however we spoke to the company who sent out a new crew to do a re-clean the next day. Second crew took one look and agreed the previous cleaning was unacceptable and spent extra time finishing the cleaning and re-cleaning all the areas the other crew had worked in the day before. This time they gave the attention to detail we were wanting. We fell in love with the cleaner they sent that day (Terri is the best!) and have requested her ever since for our weekly cleaning. When I say having my house cleaned weekly is the best decision I ever made in regard to my mental health it's no joke! We were drowning before and now the house never gets so out of control that we can't course correct in time for the next cleaning. The price for a weekly clean is great for our house and cheaper than therapy . I will admit I was apprehensive after our initial cleaning day that was not good - but the company stood by their satisfaction guarantee and made it right. We have had a few different teams come out other than our regular cleaner and they have been okay but not stellar. They provide their own products and equipment but they are willing to use yours if that is your preference. For my purposes I also needed an "industrial" cleaning of a kitchen. The kitchen had 12' ceilings, 16 large cabinets, 10 cabinet drawers, a large stove/oven, ceiling fan/light, and mobile dishwasher. The ceiling, walls, stove range hood, oven, water heater all had "dust bunnies", grime and tobacco stains. This was a major undertaking. The owner came to see the house a week before. I provided a detailed list of everything to be cleaned. A reasonable quote was provided and accepted. They completed the work with some accidental damage to some appliances. They were flexible with time (somewhat underestimated the amount of work). It took approximately 12 hours to complete the "deep" cleaning. I think they could handle that type of cleaning. He told me it would be $500 to remove two sections of chimney and then when he got home to provide the rest of the pricing, he said it was $1100. When I asked why he said because he told me it was $800 (not $500) plus money to fix the flooring, even though that was never even asked for. But the ridiculous thing is before letting him come inside to cut open walls and mess with plumbing, I hired him to do some simple painting on the front porch. As they say a fool with a tool is still a fool, and this fool cannot even use a basic paintbrush. He was completely sloppy, not even painting all of the trim, but leaving a mess on the floor even though I told him I would give him plastic. He said don't worry he'll take care of it. The most ridiculous thing is that he started to paint some of the accent trim on the porch that was not supposed to be painted whatsoever and he painted it only halfway because he was so lazy to reach behind or remove a few pieces of a bush and left it half painted. When I asked him why he would even do this and why he didn't finish he said why am I complaining? It wasn't even part of the job.! Also, I was under the impression that he finished the painting fully and started to do the other project so I Zelled him more than half the money. When he told me none of the other work had been started I asked for a refund in which he responded with a text I'm not providing any money back.! Also, as with the picture, he was supposed to fix some rotten door trim with putty and I think a blind monkey could've done a better job. He slapped it on, not even close to even and simply painted over it.! DO NOT even think to hire this hillbilly idiot.
