Here's what you get when the government takes over the healthcare industry. Basically this company will do anything to make money and this includes neglecting the residents, patients, family and staff needs or whatever will cost this corporation money to maintain or fix in it's buildings. People must realize that this should not be a for-profit industry. Administrators should not be making all the money while the staff on the "front lines" of patient care are barely making minimum wage. All their facilities are poorly maintained, patients or staff cannot complain because they will be deemed trouble makers and fired. Room ventilation is horrible, HVAC doesn't work properly throughout the facilities. Kitchens and dining areas are small and lack basic cleaning supplies. Most of these buildings are so old that they are falling apart with minimal patch work repairs to the structure. Many state departments of health don't do anything to help the situation, and only make things worse, instead of cracking down on this company, they shift the blame to the staff in the buildings. Please reconsider using this particular company when thinking about care for your loved ones. People need to know what is really going on at these facilities. STAY AWAY! It is only a matter of time before there is a catastrophe at one of their facilities because of a lack of care or administrative oversight. read more

Terrible group, especially Alexandria Health Care Center in Los Angeles. Whenever I am there visiting there is much screaming and crying going on. Will send chills down your spine. They don't follow up complaints, including the Executive Director, Mr Padama. They mis-treat their patients and are non caring and non communicative when I try to talk to them. this review should let the families and potential residents know that this company does not even supply equipment to the staff that works. they also demand the aides to buy the soap and shampoo and conditioner used by the resident at one of the facilities. very sad, since the care cost $3,000 to $7,000.00 a month. someone making slightly $10.00 to $12.00 and hour has supply their own vital sign machines and personal products!!! reason is that the managers are more worried about their bonus than any thing else. one facility in new mexico did not clean the medication room out for a long time--how can you know- a kleenex box was glued to the wall when a nurse move the broken down bedside cabinet out from the wall to clean up and organized the room!!! That's ok because for an extensive length of time, that facility did not even double lock the liquid narcotics. Just think, you love one is in their hands read more
