Upon contacting David at Genesis Home Inspections he was very polite, and professional. For the inspection, it was required for David to cross over on a boat to do the inspection. The inspection was very thorough with his inspection, and even took some extra photos for me as it was a long ways away for me and was late getting to the property. David also did an infrared scan in his inspection looking behind the walls for any water damage, insulation, or other possible problems. I highly recommend anyone purchasing a home hire David of Genesis Home Inspections to conduct a inspection on your new home or existing home for any required updates or maintenance. read more

We understand that more than likely our clients are taking one of the biggest steps in their lives by purchasing a home and we want to make sure it is the right purchase for them. We use top of the line equipment such as infrared thermometers and moisture meters to help us uncover any hidden factors in the house. Meet the Business Owner: David M.

David Myhill, the owner of Genesis Home Inspections, became passionate about homes while building a Habitat for Humanity home for hurricane victims in New Orleans. After completing a degree in Economics from Carleton University, he began building log homes and working in the construction industry. He furthered his education with a certificate in Carpentry from Vancouver Island University and graduated from the nationally renowned InterNACHI School of Home Inspectors. He is constantly in the process of enhancing his professional knowledge, taking additional courses, and learning new techniques that enable him to work with cutting edge equipment and technologies.
