Built as a replacement for the old Servette FC (the local Geneva football team) stadium, this impressive building is one of the best in the Swiss leagues. The atmosphere that can be produced here is fantastic and the amount of seats means it is very really sold out. So, even when their is only 5000 people there to watch a game on a cold & snowy sunday afternoon, do I have to wait so long to get a beer and a hotdog? Ok yes, the price is amazing for geneva, but still... we only have 15min between the 1st and 2nd half! SO HURRY UP!!!!!

I came here for a football match and sat in the visitor's area. This is one of the worst, most…read moredecrepit stadiums I've ever visited. It's really not ideal for football, as there's a track around the field so you're far from the action. The visitors section also has a bunch of columns to obstruct your view; whichever structural engineer planned this was a failure. The stadium is also not well protected from the wind, and actually seems to funnel and accentuate whatever wind there is. Not ideal for a hilltop location. There are virtually no amenities to speak of, except for a small shack that sold drinks and basic snacks like sausages (which my friend described as mediocre at best). At least the toilets were reasonably clean for a stadium. No reason to come here unless there's an amazing event you just can't miss. This is unlikely to ever be the case.
