There are stores that just look completely bonkers and you just can't help but at least take a look inside, and that's how I feel sometimes with Genevieve Gozum.
The store's been there since forever (at least as far back as I can remember), and it used to be before that the store looked... well, tacky and cheesy and cheap. Before it was nutso-freako interior design with just colors and patterns everywhere. Now they've toned it down a notch and you can see the clothes better, than just be subjected to visual psychedelia.
Yes, the stuff may still be the same, but good things can be found here! I'm partial to a lot of their mesh and sheer tops, but they have a lot more "normal" clothes too, at a mid-range price. They even have outfits for little dogs! I guess their problem is that they don't have a pinned down style, which is fine because you at least have tons of options. You just have to sort through them.
I also like to browse through their accessories, which are pretty nice, and affordable at that. It's kinda run-of-the-mill stuff, but you can find some interesting things here, like a "Help" necklace. I dare you to find another store selling a necklace with "Help" on it! read more
