I went online and left a message and he returned my call. We set up our service for the following week and they came when they said they would. We discussed my expectations and the price was fair. They did an excellent job both cutting & trimming, and they cleaned up, too, blowing the loose grass away. The guys are polite and professional. They were dependable and we were contacted if there was a change or concern. I'm happy to recommend them! I can't imagine anyone doing a better job.

I keep asking them to please treat the area along our fence and they haven't. I've asked them to treat our garden bed in the front because it's going nuts with weeds and we live in an area with an HOA. Ive agreed to pay for their add on service for that treatment. I've attempted to set up days and times for an appointment and all of the sudden they are ignoring me and showed up today to treat my neighbors lawn and left ours!!!! The guy Adam no-showed and won't answer messages all of the sudden. Ive asked him to meet with me so I can show him where not to spray and have expressed concern over the fact that our lawn is inexplicably dying in certain areas and asked for no further fertilizer to be added. Let me be clear, we have not asked for anything crazy or been obnoxious in any way. I've asked normal reasonable questions and now all of the sudden they won't respond and def aren't honoring their advertised services. They haven't come out to treat for weeds between services when I've told them about areas they have missed or how much we need the weeds in the front to be sprayed. They're the gnarliest, tallest grass weeds I've ever seen and when I try to pull it myself it comes up in GIANT clumps disturbing the weed mat and gravel in the area. I really need it sprayed so I can just pull dead grass instead of the mutant grass that's destroying everything. The picture below is one I took that happens to show where some of the lawn is dying. There are other giant/worse patches where the grass has died completely. Needless to say I can't stand these people. False advertising and strange behavior. Will be looking for a reputable company to take over.

I tried to mow my lawn this year, but my time has been extremely limited. I called them up last minute and they were out in days to start my service in the peak of their busy season. Had a local competitor do my lawns before Pro Yard Services. The previous company broke a lot of my sprinkler heads with their big mowers and refused to do anything about it. I would stay far away from this company, I will leave an honest reviews of my experience with Kai…read morethe owner of Sakai Landscaping last summer... We contracted with Kai to do about $10,000 of landscaping work in our backyard. Overall they did a mediocre job with their work however kai has shown to be very dishonest along the entire process. Number 1 he told me he had ordered our sod "weeks ago but it was delayed but for an extra $400 they can speed up the order". I called the sod company to verify and they told me they had no order under his name! You should have seen the look on Kais face when I told him I called to verify the order and they had no record of him, deer in headlights look when he was caught in that first lie trying to extort money with a lie. Next one of his workers destroyed our outdoor faucet while removing some bushes. Kai was busy wrapping up other projects and was taking weeks to repair it so he offered me $50 and told me "it's a simple repair and standard plumbing has the pieces you need for only $30". Being a trusting guy and knowing it would take Kai weeks to get it fixed I agreed to his $50 so that he could wrap up our yard and move onto to other jobs. The problem is when I went to repair it myself I found out it wasn't an "east fix" as kai told me... I had three independent plumbers come out and say it would be at least $500 to fix the hose bib. I told this to Kai and his response was "the plumbers are just ripping you off and you already accepted the $50 so we are done". I agree I made a mistake trusting kai and accepting the $50 but a reputable company would have come and paid the difference OR come back and fix it themselves when learning the actual repair is ten times the price he offered to settle with me. Instead Kai decided to blame the weather, blame me for being upset with him, and blame plumbers for giving an inflated estimate.... Do not do business with Sakai Landscaping as they will lie and mislead you and do not stand behind their work or fix the mistakes they made. Message me and I will be happy to give you a recommendation for a reputable and honest landscaping business.
