I live the 92128 area since one of the two garage door springs had broke. Isreal came within 2 hours to our Tierra Del Sol neighborhood and not only replaced the springs with heavier duty ones but also bearings, drums, rollers and two cracked brackets. WOW!! I have been ecstatically happy from the first encounter with Yisroel. My garage door had broken and I was truly in a pickle b/c it was vital that my garage door work. One of our garage door torsion springs is broken, called Genius garage doors and the technician comes over very fast to get the job done. Consider it's Sunday, most of the other companies don't even take customer calls, I am appreciated the fast turnaround time and satisfy with the result. The only thing I don't like is how they give me the quote. My garage door spring specification is .218 x 1.75 x 26, which I can see the price is $35.42 each from homedepo or about two for $82 (left and right) from NSCD. However, the quote they gave me is $150 each spring(about 4~5x more than what I can find online, anywhere). Since I have to replace two of the springs, it's $300 already and that's only the parts. They gave me a discount on the labor but the total price is still far beyond my expectation. I value the labor cost, Oscar is professional, he got the job done nicely, he tuned the door to make sure it works perfectly. I appreciate he came over on Sunday to fix it. read more

Isreal came out within an hour from my call. He gave me a quote to put my garage door back on its tracks as I had hit the door with my car causing the problem. As soon as he heard that another company was coming out momentarily to give me their quote, he dropped his price considerably and said he could complete the job within an hour. I hired him right then and there! He took all safety precautions, including wearing a mask the whole time, and even lubricated everything before finishing.
