This is your exact prototypical neighborhood pizza. You know what you're getting every time and while it isn't the greatest, it'll never let you down. $22 for a large cheese pepperoni pie is a good price these days. Sauce was sweeter, I enjoyed it. A little too doughy, wish it were crispier underneath so it held its form and not flopped while eating it. We also ordered the spicy sausage rolls, thinking they were similar to a pepperoni roll, with a pillowy bun stuffed with sausage and peppers, instead it was an egg roll type appetizer. Not bad, but it could be refined better. $9 for 3 smaller egg rolls cut in half. Atmosphere itself seems to be strictly a takeout joint. There are tables but it's not a particularly sit down place. First let it be known I really do like this place. That being said this review is based solely on their new menu item...the fish fry. Needed fish on Ash Wednesday and didn't want to dine in or goto my reg fish place, so what the heck I'll give their fish a try. First I have to say the beer battered fish was tasty, but it was way over cooked, sat on the plate like a petrified fish jerky. The batter was beyond crunchy. But her is the problem, the salads, Cole slaw and Mac salad. Both were served in tiny lil plastic cups. The Cole slaw,not bad, amounted to about a teaspoon and a half. The Mac salad, about the same amount but was nothing more than elbow Mac mixed with mayo, no onion, no celery, no carrot. It was actually rather disgusting. Wow! Been past this place a million times but never gave it a try. After seeing a FB post on best WNY we decided to give it a try. Honestly the best pix we've had in a long time. Flavorful rust, nice crisp and a perfect sauce. The staff were all very nice to everyone coming in. We tried the sub as well a few days earlier. Great quality in those as well. Ordered chicken fingers medium to go with fry's. $14.95. Average price. They were good and a decent size with celery and blue cheese that was an off brand and not to my liking. Fingers were dry. Needed more sauce. When breaded fingers are hot they soak up the sauce. Will try again later. Pizza review to follow. Well we went back for pizza a week later. Call it in and ordered small pizza and was told they don't have a small pizza it's a medium. Hate that. It's the smallest pizza they have! It's a SMALL!! Because you cut it in 8 doesn't make it any bigger!! It gets better. I get home and look up their menu and it's pizza night!! Large pizza $14.95. !!! Nothing said when I called. Not good. Good news though. I called to complain and she apologized and gave some money back. As far as the pizza goes, it was pretty good. It was better than last time sauce was good. Cheese was good. I was camping and it was decided our first night would be pizza from a local place in Alden NY. Called and placed the order for a saucy pizza with pepperoni, mushrooms and black olives. I was pleasantly greeted and promptly a piping hot pizza was in my hands. I was very happy with the tasty crust with a bit of chew. Not to bad. Pizza itself was pretty good. The cheese tasted a bit off and the sauce could use a bit more flavor. Wings were perfectly crunchy. Garlic parmesan and mild. GP was good and mild was bland, but crunchy. Service was fantastic and very friendly! Clean and nice atmosphere! read more

My girlfriend's brother is a real idiot. Whenever we're at her parents' place (he still lives with them, age 28 or something), he'll come over and pinch her nose and hold it like he's some sort of clothes peg. He'll be all, "breathe through your mouth!" And I'll yell at him, "Get Off Her Nose." Apparently he mis-heard me because he opened this pizza place named after the four words I always yell at him: Geoffano's. Friendly guys serving up good pizza. As far as Buffalo goes, this slice is pretty average, and they close pretty early, but if you happen to be in Alden there's only 4 or 5 places to choose from, so you may as well give this slice a try. I thought it was pretty good, much like Town Line, and the service was nice too. I also recommend you try a slice at La Paloma, down the road. This place has one thing that sets it apart from all the other Pizzerias in town. It's attached to its very own ice cream place! Jeanette's, to be exact. Our family used to order a lot when we came into town and visited my mom. However.... Not a huge fan of the crust on the pizza as of lately. Had mentioned it to management a while back, and was told hadn't been changed. We tried it twice after the comment thinking it was a fluke, and it was still...blah. We recently visited Alden, my home town. We ordered pizza from Geoffanos - some of the best pizza that I have every had. The crust was just right - not too thick and not too thin, just delicious, smothered with cheese and vegetables! The owners were very friendly and made this a memorable experience.
