I don't leave very many reviews but this man deserves it because he's honest and knowledgeable. I accidentally Left my fridge open overnight and the next day it just would not cool. I was frustrated because I was afraid I completely broke it and everyone I called was not available (it was the day after Xmas) and they quoted me $100 to just come look at it. I left George a message in the evening expecting a call back the next day. But he called back within the hour. I explained what happened and he told me the solution right over the phone! He gave me free advice as he knew it was something simple and the other companies I called got the same story and were still going to charge for a super simple job. He had the necessary part, vacuumed the inside of the disassembled dryer and put it all back together within an hour. His price was very reasonable. He then looked at another appliance (trash compactor) and found the problem. The part will take two weeks to arrive from the factory and he scheduled us for then. First of all, he was gracious enough with his time to diagnose the issue with my fridge and tell me about the possibilities of what could be wrong based on a series of questions, all over the phone. I was able to get a rough estimate of how much the repair could cost, but he also assured me that it could be a simple fix as well if I just followed his instructions for the next couple days to test out the theory. George made sure to go above and beyond to try and trouble shoot over the phone. There are plenty of repair men on this app, but George is the one who went out of his way to help before I even decided on his business. I called him back out two days later and he fixed the problem. Fridge is working in tip top shape and I saved a lot of money on buying a new one. George is a pro and he's honest too. I'm going to be referring George to friends and family for sure. I had an appointment with George appliances he's a very nice guy came out and to a look at my fridge bevause the freezer was working but not cooling fridge portion. He reset and replaced a part in the refrigerator and said give it a few hours as it would cool down eventually. Paid him the house call fee and part fee. Later that evening I noticed it wasn't cooling and gave him another call to come back and set a time and he showed up 2 hours later and didnt call in advance to say he was going to be late or be on the way he just popped up unannounced (not good) checked another part and propped up one of my house fans to help "cool" the compressor and left few hours later still wasn't working called him to come back again set a time and he didnt show up at the time agreed I called him but no answer but showed up late again unannounced just as before as I was getting ready to leave for work and told him I have to go and he said it will be a few moments so I let him in he checked some parts and said I'd have to call the manufacturer since he couldn't figure it out and said that he could charge me for the 3rd house call but that he wouldn't. Since he didn't fix anything I should've been refunded at least the part that he installed I understand the house call fee but I still have a non-working fridge irregardless what work he tried to do on it. Wouldn't reccomend. read more

Dishwasher fixed! My dishwasher starting spitting out water on the top of my sink. I never had that happen before. I sent out 4-5 quote requests and he was one of the first ones to reply. I like a quote first off. I like being able to tell them my issue and if they can give me a quote. George was exactly as the other reviewers said he was. He was kind and professional. He explained what might have happened when he was working on it and then went to work. There was another issue with my garbage disposal that might have caused or at least aggravated the issue which he quickly rectified. I was very grateful to George.
