Don't know where to start with my review. There are both pros and cons. I guess I'll start with a…read morefew of the pros. They have a large menu of assorted foods. They do have several items that are vegetarian. And since my seat was in the kitchen (not kidding) I noticed the kitchen staff was hard working and everything looked clean. The restaurant is large and trendy, and they do have English menus. And now a little of the cons. They are very understaffed. On a Saturday night it seemed like the servers couldn't keep up, we rarely saw our server and when we did, he was literally running by. Additionally the understaffing caused a lot of chaos. Since I was in the mall earlier that day, I decided to stop by and make a reservation. I watched as the hostess wrote down the reservation. I'm not sure what happened, but by the time we got there, six hours later, our reservation was lost. At first they tried to seat 7 of us at a 5 top table, then seated us in the kitchen (at this point we were happy to have any table). Our waiter took our food orders about 15 minutes later on a small electric device, yet of the 6 food orders placed (one person decided not to eat) 3 of the orders were wrong. One of our diners wanted more food but we never saw our server, from order taking, until it was time to pay (some one else brought our food). There was also some confusion about the paying part, but apparently there was enough time for the waiter to confront me about it, even though it had nothing to do with me, but instead with a couple of the orders that were wrong. I don't know. I really want to like this place because it's trendy which causes excitement. But, I'm not that excited about the place. Not to mention the food is OK, nothing I can't get somewhere else. Will I be back? I probably won't. Sorry Alex.

You come in, and basically seat yourself if you can find a table that is open. Menus should already be on the table, but ask if you need them. Again, learn some German and ask if the waiter or waitress can speak English. We were lucky that our waiter did speak English well enough to order. They do have English menus, but thanks to Google Translate, we ordered from the German one. Since I knew how to speak in German, I ordered for my husband an omelette with cheese and tomatoes, and I decided to try their homemade pancakes, which was actually a crepe with their "buffet" jam. The buffet was literally a shelf along the wall with all different kinds of homemade and store brand jams. Each was more spectacular than the next! Excellent choice for something different on the menu. My hubby's omelette was super yummy and flavorful. The service was not rushed in any way, and the vibe here is very relaxed and laid back. We could tell people were truly enjoying themselves and not rushing to go run off to do something else. If you don't have time to kill, this might not be your place.
