I experienced the worst customer interaction/experience EVER AT THIS ESTABLISHMENT ! A Friend and I traveled all the way from another borough specifically to this place to then be treated as if they weren't interested in our money or customer experience. We came looking for a few products, but as my friend was more versed in these items than i am, we stood talking trying to decide on items based on personal events and needs i had and what was the best products to get. The store owner (older indian) very obnoxious, rude and plain miserable lady, yells at us saying " Are yall going to just stand there and talk or are y'all going to just buy something?" She rolled her eyes and gave us the "well leave then" face. I was so caught off guard because any decent person would have came to us and asked if we needed help or needed help deciding on an item or questions about any of the products. Instead she basically proved our dollars were unwanted. Initially i was just going to leave and not give them one cent, I decided only buy two things since I travelled so far. I recommend NOT EVER COMING HERE. DO NOT SPEND ANY Money at this place if you choose to be respected as a customer and show that they appreciate you doing business with them. read more

Let's start off by saying I'm in the neighborhood and was looking to pick up some items, and was hesitant on the store based on some of the reviews I had read. I was amazed at the variety of goods sold! They have everything - incense, herbs, oils, candles, figurines, prayer cards, literature, vessels for liquids/grinding herbs and such, and even more. Just would like to add that their assortment of oils was *amazing.* I went in about half an hour before advertised closing hours, so I wanted to be quick. I greeted the gentleman standing by the front door, and said hello to the women behind the counter. They were all friendly and welcoming. I got some essentials, four items total, and it was less than $10. For anyone who is interested in a high quality, budget-friendly botanica in the area, I highly suggest you visit Georges. read more

Earlier today, I visited this store to purchase a few items with a friend. During a conversation with my friend on which items would be best suited for the occasion, one of the staff(a short homely woman) asked us if we were going to just stand there talking or were we going to buy something. Instead of asking us if we needed help, she insulted us. There's was no one in the store but us and we weren't even speaking loudly. We were extremely offended and I will not be returning to this store. However, there is a spiritual store a few doors down called Fulton Cultural and Spiritual that may be a better fit. I DO NOT recommend anyone use George's religious store due to poor customer service. read more

This shop is in my new neighborhood and I've frequented it over the past few months to get my religious supplies despite the owner of the store always giving me bad vibes and watching as I shopped!! He's even tried over charging me a few times but I patronized anyway because of the convenience. However, today, he outright REFUSED to sell me some candles because he didn't like how I selected them!! Then, questioned my reasoning for getting them only to tell me "this isn't a beauty contest"?!? I cannot describe how offended and irate I am at this man's judgement and rudeness towards me as a paying customer!!! read more
