I visited Georgetown Cafe & Bakery for a late breakfast on a cold, rainy, Friday morning - arrived about 10:30 am. After looking over the menu - I ordered the Sausage Gravy & Biscuits - which comes with two eggs - ordered those over easy. And a side of bacon - and coffee, and water. The food came out fast. The Sausage gravy was disappointing. It was on the thin side, ladled over a single thin biscuit - and did not have much flavor. I added salt, pepper, and a bit of the hot sauce they had on hand - which is as far as I can tell - a generic cayenne-based sauce served in a plastic soufflé cup. The eggs were cooked properly. The bacon was extremely crispy and very thin. You could tell it had been sitting under a heat lamp or just sitting for a while. Definitely not cooked to order. The coffee was slightly burnt. Service was good. I attempted to pay with Apple Pay - but they have their POS so far behind the counter - that I could not reach it and authenticate at the same time - so I just paid cash. Service was good. I don't see myself returning. #GeorgetownCafeAndBakery

First time here. Stopped in for breakfast on a Saturday morning. We had the Egg and Cheese sandwich and the Big South (biscuits and sausage gravy). Egg and cheese sandwich was good with good portion of scrambled eggs. Big South was not great. Gravy was soupy and the biscuits were burnt. Hopefully others had a better experience. Safe to say I won't be returning.

Wife and I went for breakfast on 7/2/2023. Wife had a create your own omlette with grits. Eggs cooked perfectly. Grits were very tasty. I had the breakfast burrito with home fries on the side. Burrito was very tasty. My only negative comments are that our eggs, my potatoes lacked seasoning, definitely needed salt. A decent meal for a reasonable price. The service was very good!

    Receipt for overpriced food.

Food was good but we were on the only people in the restaurant and the owner/manager was sitting at his desk right where you're eating so having a private conversation wasn't really possible. Also what a rip off for the price! If you order waffles or pancakes it's all al a carte so don't expect pancakes with eggs and bacon for less than $20. The bacon was clearly deep fried and way too dry. Coffee was burnt and the creamer offered didn't help. Also our receipt was for "Kings Tavern & Wine Bar" I guess the two businesses are associated (news to me) but I felt like I didn't know where I was eating. Pictures on Google looked appealing but I won't be heading back.

They have the best omelettes! They are never overdone and loaded up. I also love their home fries!

Expensive and not good but hours are great. Waiting for a friend to finish up. Wasn't surprised my food wouldn't be good. Just bad quality like what I might make at home except it wasn't my home lol

Food is good! Maybe a bit over priced for the quality although portion size was decent. I would get the breakfast burrito again but probably to-go as the service wasn't great. Skip the mimosa or you'll pay $10 for a glass of OJ

This small cafe looked welcoming with outdoor seating- it was not. The server was miserable & acted put out by more customers ( it wasn't busy, and was 4 of us at 11 am on a Sunday). The croissant sandwich was a decent size but that was the only redeeming quality; nothing special in flavor. Everything else looked like the chef cooked a portion for 1 person and split it into 4 plates. Check out my photos. It was literally 3 bites of home fries served. Embarrassing for a breakfast "cafe". No need to visit this one- you can have a more enjoyable breakfast at home.

The food was good, not amazing but definitely one of the better breakfast places I've been to. Our waitress was wonderful, definitely was very focused on making sure we had everythinng we needed. I think my main grievance is the fact that they seemed to be out of a few things on the menu which was pretty disappointing. Overall, It's not my first choice but i'd definitely go back

I had a bodybuilding competition in Manassas in June and it was close enough that I was willing to drive to pickup my order. Plus I had others I could order with. I ordered 6 cookies (the minimum), a mix of key lime, fluffernutter, chocolate chip and brookie. They were all just so delicious! But my favorite was key lime, which surprised me since I'd never had that flavor in a cookie. It was rich but not overpowering, and left a pleasant aftertaste. Fluffernutter, the one I had after my competition, was also quite tasty (peanut butter and chocolate). I thought it was helpful to browse the Instagram posts with pictures and descriptions of various cookies. The owner was very helpful when I placed my order. I wasn't able to select a time for some reason and when I emailed for help, she responded promptly. She also helped me change the pickup time after I placed my order. I had a lot going on to coordinate pickup, lol. The others who enjoyed the cookies were also raving about how good they were. I hope I get a chance to try them again!

The young woman working there was polite, patient and friendly. I looked at their selection of cupcakes and noticed some flavors were sold out. Finally, I decided to get one Boston cream pie cupcake and one caramel coffee cupcake. When we got home, we decided to try one of the cupcakes later in the evening. We agreed to share the Boston cream pie cupcake first. I cut it in half. We weren't impressed with this one. There was a small amount of custard in the cake part, while the top was dark chocolate frosting. We've had far better versions of this flavor cupcake in the past. The next night, we tried the caramel coffee one. It had a vanilla cake, which was on the dry side. However, the frosting was the star of the show. The coffee and the caramel flavors were noticeable. This cupcake was the better of the two. We don't regret trying the cupcakes... but... as to whether we would go again... well... the jury is still out.

This place is just stunning...the dining area, stairs with positive messages, the ordering/"shopping", even the bathroom! The service is just exceptional, above and beyond. It was a seameless process to make the reservation online and edit as needed. There were automatic emails and texts for the reservation confirmation and reminder. Each afternoon tea includes 2 pots of tea, 1 macaron/person, and additional bites (savory & sweet). Luckily, there were 2 of us, so we each ordered our own teas. I'm not sure how flexible they are if requesting additional tea pots for larger parties (max 8 people). The weekdays tea is $35/person, weekends $40/person (needs a reservation). There is an 18% gratuity to all the final bill regardless of the number of people in the party. I would highly recommend the Thai tea...I don't add any sugar or cream to my tea and it was still so tasty. I ordered the coconut macaron, which is the newest addition the the macaron family. Parking: there is parallel parking available in front of and around the establishment. There is also a parking garage roughly 1 block (walking distance), which is free on the weekends. If planning a visit on the weekdays, be sure to read the parking signs carefully. I would definitely return to try other items on their menu.
