As a recent patient and graduate of Georgia Recovery Campus I have to say it was truly an amazing life changing experience. I will start with the staff to the RAs you all are amazing and I know it's tough taking care of and making sure all of us were where we needed to be at all times. But you all did it it and maintained a level of professionalism and care that never changed in my time with you. The lodging was great always clean and never any issues with the group of guys houses with me. Everyone became like family always supportive of each other. The nursing staff was amazing the learned the name of each patient and always greeted us with a smile along with kind and encouraging words. Angie was an amazing provider. I was able to sit with her and talk to her like I had known her for years and she was able to treat my PTSD when many others had failed. The security team was awesome and always professional in doing their job, but still showed compassion to us knowing that we were in a battle with ourselves. Will, Shaun and Barnard along with all of the security staff thank you, you always showed kindness to everyone. Now to the therapist and counselors, I'll be honest I'm not sure how to put into words or if it's even possible to explain and express how crucial these men and women are to an addicts recovery. Each and everyone of them are beacons of encouragement in your journey to sobriety. I have been a firefighter for 20 years but the amount of love, passion and heart that each one of them put into every day and every class goes unmatch by anything I have seen. They truly put their soul into helping people recover from addiction. Big Mike brings so much positive energy to his classes and always willing to tell his story to encourage others. He shows everyone that laughter can heal and smiles are contagious. Marshall will show you that even when in the marathon of addiction recovery you feel like giving up, you can make it. He give so much time and effort to make sure to give his classes the encouragement to keep going. Taylor is amazing, she always being a new way of thinking to parenting/emotions in recovery. Luke is great and always open to an open floor conversation, helps every feel that there story matters. Titan will always be will to give advise along with pointers for the gym. Nathan is an amazing therapist I can not express how much help he gave in finding the real roots of my addiction and how much the group session helped. This just names a few you the therapist and counselors but I can say from experience that everyone of them bring so much to the table. GRC is truly the best recovery center you will find. There will be tough times but power though the reward is worth it. You get as much out of the program as you put in, don't sell yourself short, you are worth it, I promise. I was able to find my purpose in life, regain my confidence as a person and able to start my path to recovery. The arms of Georgia Recovery Campus are open you just have to take that first step. read more
