We found this place through Expedia and I'm so glad we did! I really did enjoy my stay here The lady at the front desk was very nice and even upgraded us to a suite with a Jacuzzi tub with no additional costs. How nice is that? When we arrived at the room, we were quite shocked to see the size of the suite. It was HUGE!! It had a full blown kitchen that was stocked with everything I would ever need- I'm talking baking pans! The living room was a good size but my favorite thing about the room? That king size bed and Jacuzzi tub! The suite even came with a fireplace, that was a nice touch for a romantic night with a significant others. As for their breakfast in the morning, not the best. However, their potatoes were amazing! I came back for seconds on those. But, everything else was mediocre at best. Not to mention, the dinner menu didn't seem enticing either. I will definitely be back to stay with this resort and hopefully longer in the future!

We went to Blue Mountain for skiing past two weekends and decided to stay here for a night in two bedroom suite plus kitchenette. Price is very competitive and reasonable as it it way cheaper than Blue Mountain resorts. The location is very good as it is only 10 minutes away from Blue Mountain. Room was spacious, bathrooms was spotless and so what the kitchen. My only complaint was that they don't have down comforters on the beds. We will definitely be back.

Nice hotel / resort on the edge of the Blue mountains. Quiet and comfortable speaks volumes here, a great area for a getaway!

I gave it a five star because it is an excellent challenge that is in great shape and we'll designed - that got 4 stars, the other star comes from the price you pay: great value! Now to the golfing - this course is challenging, it's a highly psychological course because about a third of the holes have water and tall grasses between tee and fairway - this will mess with your mind, so be careful, also the par threes and some par fours will kill you, you need a long shot on drives and your second shot, this is a true golfers course because it pushes that second shot, if you're weak on your second here you are done like the proverbial dinner. Beware of hole 13 it's a grande puta where your second and third shots must be big and accurate otherwise you may as well record a double bogey before you tee off. Lastly, it took just 2.5 hours despite being a very looooong course distancewise.Ya this is a course to play again, it's just too bad it isn't closer to TO. I will be back Blue/black 91. Let's begin by stating I've played golf here since day 1…read more It was once owned by The Raven Group of golf courses. It has changed hands I believe twice since then. Today's Lora Bay Golf Club is a Real Estate venture. NOT a golf experience. Great Gulf Homes has purchased the property and it's quite obvious if you're a golfer that they should stick to building homes and not try to operate what used to be a premium golf course. The golf course began a renovation of the bunkers a few years back and it seems they've completed this. Not a good job at all. Poor edges, they've filled in old ones and made new ones. Basically changing the design AND the feel of the golf course. Needlessly, in my opinion. Some old bunkers have been grassed but then sod laid terribly and when they cut it it has now been burnt from the mowers.. too much sand not enough sand... then in their wisdom they reversed the 9's. Changed what was #10 (now 1) from a par 5 to a 4 and what was 11 (now 2) from a par 4 to a 5. Green speeds were about 9. I have to say finishing on what was 9 just doesn't have the same feel as finishing coming into the clubhouse. There are too many critiques to mention. A sign at the now 8th hole so you can order food in advance of the turn (supposedly for pace of play?) what a waste of time .. ordered a HALF SANDWHICH and 2 bottles of water. When I got there it wasn't ready they had to go get it .. had to wait for a foursome of guys who had t even t'd off yet to order their drinks and then I was charged $23.00. SorryGGH.. after all these years you've lost me as a customer. You have no idea how to run a golf club.. either that or you just don't care ! It's such a shame because this track was once a premier club in the Georgian Bay Collingwood area.. for $220.00 green fee GGH should be absolutely ashamed of themselves. Honestly in its current state I'd hesitate to even pay $100.00 .. save your $ play Cranberry Village, Monterra or drive the extra to Cobble Beach Golf Links

The food was soooooo good: we ordered salads (both the beet and Caesar is good), and the chicken Marsala (sooooo good), short rib, and the best thing on the menu - the lamb. There should be more hype about this restaurant cause honestly the outdoor patio is so nice, the grounds are super relaxing and the food is great. We also had a wonderful server, Jean!

We were a bit skeptical of how it would measure up, because it's in a much smaller unit, but we turned out pleasantly impressed. The one obvious improvement is that it's newer than the old facility, but it's been a few years since they moved. Yet, it is still very fresh and clean. We booked our tickets online prior to going, as recommended on their website, to avoid any wait behind others to get started. Sure enough, we only had to wait a couple of minutes once we arrived to get started. In the meantime, we wandered among the arcade amusements you can enjoy. You can purchase ticket packages in bulk if you want to enjoy the arcade machines and games in lieu of or in addition to your mini golf experience. We were handed out putters and able to choose what colour glow-in-dark ball we wanted. We were able to begin right away. Throughout the entire 18 holes, we rarely had to worry about waiting on people ahead of us, or causing delay to anyone behind. It wasn't perfect, but it was a testament to how well they manage to stagger entrants. All of the holes were different, in terms of layout and paint design. Everything was aesthetically pleasing. The challenge level was a good medium so that you don't want to scream with frustration, but not so easy as to make it absolutely boring. I'd say we spent maybe 90 minutes or so in total to complete the course. We were asked if we'd like to have a scorecard to keep track, which we did. It wasn't always easy keeping up, moving along, and writing scores on the fly, but it made it a little more fun to keep the competitive streak running. We dropped our putters off before exiting the course and were done. It was a great family activity, which I'd recommend with any group you might want to play with. They also offer party packages, with a full sized party area to accommodate a celebratory meal. We'll definitely return every so often for a fun, family experience.

Perfect for date nights or even a fun day out with the family, this mini golf place definitely delivers! Psychedelic colours await you with distorted shapes and figures covered in neon as you putt through all the rounds of a really fun and different course. Each hole is different and has it's own charm. Staff are friendly and even when it's not super busy, it's still a great day out. With such an affordable price, I'll definitely be back!
