When a notary takes on a set of clients, who live abroad, one would assume that he/she would be able to communicate in English to allow for the required duties of a notary (like counselling the clients) to be conducted. Not only did Notar Geraats refuse to communicate in English at all, worse he refused to provide advice on German rental law. Instead of receiving advice from Notar Geraats, we had to obtain services from another law firm to have basic questions answered.
In summary, the services by Notar Geraats were terrible and I would strongly advise against using Notar Geraats for any business in Germany. read more
